Simon Cowell has revealed that he has issued a warning to his fellow X Factor judges telling them that they all need to raise their performance on the show, says a report. The X Factor boss told Louis Walsh, Dannii Minogue and Cheryl Cole that he expects "more" from them.
The entertainment mogul told the Daily Star that he felt that his fellow judges were not doing enough to support their acts.
He said: "We did have a pep talk. We need to dig a bit deeper and give a little more to the show and the talent.
"It was time to bang a few heads together, tell them they need a rocket up their backsides."
A show source told the newspaper that Cowell is "unhappy" with the performance of the judges on the show.
The source added: "He made his feelings very clear. He's been unhappy with some aspects of this year's show."
Simon recently hit the headlines when he claimed that he did not think that he deserved his "Mr Nasty" status.
He told BBC Newsbeat: "I've never honestly considered myself to be nasty.
"Whatever people think of me genuinely is sort of irrelevant. Judging a talent show is a job, this is the real world."
