Corrie star Alison King has said that she is giving her pregnant co-star Samia Smith tips on motherhood. King recently gave birth to her daughter Daisy-Mae.
The actress, who plays Carla Gordon on the soap, feels that she is in a perfect position to offer advice to Samia (Maria Connor).
She told the TV Times: "I've given her lots and lots of tips, but I haven't told her any of the bad bits."
She added: "I'm just warming her slowly. I'll wait until her baby is born and then I'll be there for her."
There has been a baby boom on the show recently with Julia Haworth (Claire Peacock), Ryan Thomas (Jason Grimshaw), Jane Danson (Leanne Battersby) and Graeme Hawley (John Stape) all seeing their families grow.
King added that the stars of the show who do not have young children are getting tired of all the baby conversations.
She joked: "In the green room, you can see people who haven't got babies getting a bit uncomfortable and thinking, 'Will you just shut up!'. But you just can't."
Alison recently returned to filming for Corrie after her maternity leave.
