Lynda Bellingham is "relieved" to have been axed from 'Strictly Come Dancing'.

The 'Loose Women' presenter and her partner Darren Bennett lost out in the dance-off to 'Coronation Street' star Craig Kelly and Flavia Cacace on Saturday (10.10.09); but admits she has no regrets as she had no idea how stressful she would find the show.

She said: "I've had a hell of a three weeks. It's a relief to be out. It's relentless. The public don't understand how time-consuming it is.

"It takes over your life. Once it stops it's like getting off a roundabout - you're glad you are off."

Despite her happiness, the 61-year-old star wants to continue dancing and is even enlisting Darren to persuade her husband to join her.

She added to Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Darren has offered to give me and my husband lessons which would be quite a laugh - but Michael is not too thrilled."
