Reality TV star Katie Price is concerned that her new lover Alex Reid is becoming "obsessed" with her, a report has claimed. Sources have alleged that the cage fighter has `begged" Katie to marry him.
Insiders reportedly told the Daily Star that the 34-year-old is currently saving up to buy an engagement ring for the glamour model.
A source claimed: "Alex is mad about Kate, he has fallen head over heels and is devoting his life to her.
"He is desperate to marry her but is worried he is not famous or rich enough to keep her. He'd propose now if he could but he can't afford a ring expensive enough - let's face it: she'll expect a £1 million rock."
However, friends have said that they believe that Katie is still in love with ex-husband Peter Andre.
One claimed: "Although she declares she's happier than ever, we all know she still loves Pete."
Millions of viewers saw Alex confess his feelings for Price on her reality TV show earlier this week.
He said: "When we look at each other at night and cuddle - that is real, that is magic. That is a unity that transcends all the rubbish."
