X Factor winner Alexandra Burke is set to join pop superstar Beyonce Knowles on tour later this year.
Insiders told the News of the World that the 20-year-old will hook up with Beyonce for a couple of dates on the tour scheduled for the autumn.
The pair reportedly hatched the plan, which will see them repeat their X Factor duet, in a backstage meeting at Beyonce's recent concert in London.
An insider said: "Alex and Beyonce have become great friends since meeting on X Factor.
"When Beyonce asked her to hook up on the tour, Alex jumped at the chance."
Burke recently said on her official website that she took time away from recording her debut album in Los Angeles last month to keep a dinner date with Knowles and her husband Jay-Z.
Alex also said that she felt happier now that the recording has been completed on her debut album.
She said: "I can't believe how fast this year has gone. I can't wait for this album to be finished so you can all hear the songs. I had an amazing time creating it."
She added: "This is a real dream!"
