Pop star Dannii Minogue has confirmed she is expecting her first child with boyfriend model, Kris Smith.
The X Factor judge sparked rumours early last week when she was spotted leaving a health clinic in Australia.
Minogue shared the news with friends, family and fans when she tweeted earlier on today: "Woo hoo, I'm gonna be a mummy! :-)"
The pair who have been dating since 2008 are “excited and can’t wait to start their family in 2010” the couple’s representative told Australian newspaper Herald Sun.
The baby is due in July; no comment has been made on whether Minogue will return as a judge for the seventh series of The X Factor in the summer.
However, with rumours of Mel B on the sidelines as a possible replacement perhaps Dannii is finally making an exit.
