Lloyd Daniels admits 'theme weeks were tough'

X Factor star Lloyd Daniels has admitted that he found the theme weeks on the competition "hard". He said that this year's choices which included Diva, Queen and Elton John, were not suited for his style.

The Welsh singer added that he was satisfied with mentor Cheryl Cole's song choices for him.

He told Digital Spy: "The problem is that the theme weeks get you down really.

"The song choices were great, but the themed weeks were not picked for you."

The 16-year-old denied reports that he had threatened to quit after his singing was criticised by judge Louis Walsh.

He said: "There was no truth in that at all. I was never going to leave or quit.

"I did have a bad day, one day. Not in a really bad way, I was just really tired, wanted to lie down and go to sleep for a while.

"But by the time everyone had done all their soundchecks and then I went to do mine, I was fine."
