Bookies have revealed that they believe that Simon Cowell's acts are set to dominate the festive record charts. They have said that they are sure that Susan Boyle, Leona Lewis and his X Factor acts will secure the top slots in the Christmas charts.
Cowell has already scored a number one hit for The X Factor charity single `You Are Not Alone' and music industry insiders believe that the record will still be near the top of the charts at Christmas.
This year's X Factor winner's single is also expected to take the number one slot in the festive chart but it will have to compete with releases from Leona Lewis and Susan Boyle.
Boyle's debut album `I Dreamed A Dream' is expected to secure the number one slot in the album charts.
Bookmakers William Hill have announced that they are offering odds of 5-1 that Cowell's acts will have the top four singles.
The firm are certain that the X Factor winner's single will also secure a number one hit and they are offering odds of 1-10 on the song taking the top slot.
HMV spokesman Genaro Castaldo told the Daily Star: "It's unprecedented for an individual to have such a powerful hold on the UK charts.
"We could be looking at a bit of a Simon Cowell lock-out."
