Leona Lewis has knocked JLS off of the top spot and achieved her second UK number one album this week with Echo.
Leona won the X Factor competition in 2006 when over eight million viewers voted for her.
The superstar’s first album Spirit also went straight in at number one when it was released in 2007 and became the fastest-selling debut record of all time.
The overwhelming success of the X Factor star should silence the critics that have claimed the show doesn’t produce any real talent.
Sting reportedly made scathing remarks about the quality and credibility of the show. He apparently branded the X Factor as a "soap opera" when he was interviewed by the London Evening Standard.
Sting recently told the newspaper: "I am sorry but none of those kids are going to go anywhere and I say that sadly."
The X Factor continues next Saturday at 8pm on STV.
