X Factor contestant Stacey Solomon is set to win The X Factor, according to a new poll. Although the official phone votes are kept secret until the end of the competition, the poll has given an indication of the fans' favourites.
The Essex lass polled 36% of the votes on the online bingo site 888ladies.com.
She was followed by one of Simon Cowell's over-25s, Essex lad Olly Murs, who managed to get 28% of the vote.
If these results are reflected in the actual phone votes cast then it may be an all-Essex final.
However, it was bad news for Lloyd Daniels who only managed to poll one per cent of the votes.
John and Edward were only just ahead of the teen favourite with six per cent - so maybe their days on the show are numbered.
If Stacey wins the show her mentor Dannii Minogue will be pleased, but Cheryl Cole was still voted as the favourite judge.
Meanwhile, it has been rumoured that Simon Cowell will axe one of the four judges for next year's X Factor.
He hopes to prevent the controversial deadlock situation when the decision is not made by the judges but keeps going back to the public vote.
Bookies William Hill has given Minogue odds of 2/5 to be the one to leave the series.
William Hill spokesperson Rupert Adams told The Daily Mirror: "We think that Dannii is doomed.
"She has the least musical credibility and Simon has obviously fallen out of love with her."
