Westlife band members Nicky Byrne and Shane Filan has said that they are proud to support X Factor contestants John and Edward. The band met the twins when they were guest performers on the show.
Talking to RTÉ.ie at the Cheerios Childline Concert, Byrne said: "They're not the greatest singers in the world but that's not the point.
"I think they're having fun, they're enjoying their lives and enjoying their moment."
He added: "They're already won the show as far as I'm concerned, even if they don't win the show.
"Even, if they're knocked out next week, they're massive."
He praised the Irish lads for their professional attitude, saying: "They're so unassuming. It's like they don't know, when you speak to them, what's going on.
"They're oblivious to it, which is nice."
Filan added: "People are voting for them and they're the most entertaining part of the show."
Referring to last week's show, he said: "It's a turning point... The judges now are starting to even like them, the other judges on the show."
