X Factor 2008 winner Alexandra Burke has said she is making plans to begin her own headline tour. The `Bad Boys' singer has revealed that she will be on the road quicker than Leona Lewis.
Lewis took three years after winning the X Factor before embarking on a headline tour.
Burke told the Daily Star: "I definitely won't take as long as Leona.
"There's something in the pipeline already for sure."
The 21-year-old recently played a live set for Mencap's Little Noise charity gig.
Alexandra has admitted that she is feeling more comfortable on stage.
She said: "My management were very happy with my performance.
"They were like, 'You know what, you just proved something to us'.
"Performing is what I'm about and doing it for such a special cause in my hometown is inspiring."
She added: "My two backing vocalists are good friends of mine from back in the old days. I've known Shaun and Dave since I was 17.
"It's important to work with people you can blend with and I feel more comfortable with them on stage, so keeping my family close to me will be major."
