Alexandra Burke’s debut album, Overcome, is to be released on October 19 – a week earlier than previously thought.
It was rumoured that Alexandra – who was last year’s X Factor winner – was set to release the album on October 26, the same day as her mentor on the show, Cheryl Cole, is releasing her own debut album.
The singer's album will now closely follow the release of her single Bad Boys, which is out on October 12.
Alexandra recently praised Cheryl’s first solo single, Fight for This Love, which comes from her debut album, Thee Words, calling the song “a grower”.
The pair are still close friends following the show last year, and Alexandra told STV’s The Hour earlier in the week that Cheryl is “always on the other side of the phone”.
