Charlotte Church has said that she would relish a job on judging panel for the next series of The X Factor.
Church has already been linked to the show as there has been speculation that Simon Cowell is looking to bring in a new judge to keep the programme fresh.
Charlotte, who recently gave birth to her second child, admitted that the demands of filming for the talent contest would have a negative impact on her young family.
She told OK!: "I'd really want to get involved, but it wouldn't work with my life now because the kids will come everywhere with me and if I was based in London, that's taking them away from their dad."
The Welsh singer said that she would be able to work alongside Cheryl Cole, despite their long-standing feud.
She explained: "Do you know what, I've not met her once!
"It would probably be a bit strained because I've said some stuff about her and she's said some stuff about me.
"However, it was such a long time ago."
Charlotte made a further attempt to smooth the relationship between the pair by making some complimentary comments about the X Factor judge.
She gushed: "I think Cheryl is a gorgeous girl, though, and Girls Aloud are really great - I like their music, Ruby (her two-year-old daughter) loves them.
"There's no problem there."
