X Factor winner Alexandra Burke has reportedly broken a promise to Cheryl Cole to stay away from boys.
The 20-year-old was warned by her mentor Cheryl to leave the boys alone and concentrate on her singing career, but Alex may have had a holiday romance in Mauritius last week, says a report in the Sunday Mirror.
The young singer was spotted getting close with a local lad called Maurice. The Samoan-born beau is an employee at Blues Diving Centre in the exclusive Belle Mare Plage hotel.
A friend of Alex's said: "Alex got back on Friday and said one of the best things about her break was meeting Maurice.
"She just wanted a bit of fun before focusing on her debut album."
Alexandra Burke recently stated that she would definitely stay single for a while, in fact she insisted that she didn't want a man for the next ten years!
She told Grazia magazine: "They're a waste of time, a waste of space.
"They're only going to be good for me when I'm about 30 and thinking about kids."
