With 80,000 music fans, 150 bands - and bad weather - it must be T in the Park. Today is the start of the 15th annual rock festival, which is Scotland's biggest. After last year's problems with bad weather and travel congestion organisers are hoping for better luck.
With thousands choosing to ditch their cars this year, the only queues are here at the ticket gates, and there is an unprecedented number of people coming through them for a first day. Up to 50,000 are expected by the end of the day. That compares with the between 20-30,000 who normally turn up for Friday at T in the Park.
In response police have mounted what they are calling the biggest operation held in Scotland outside of the G8 conference. There are more than 200 officers a day working there, backed up by over 1,000 marshalls and stewards.
Regular drug and weapon searches are being carried out across the campsite. Several people have been cautioned for minor offences but only one person has been charged, and that was for theft.
It may be their biggest operation, but it seems T in the Park festival goers are making the job much easier for police this year.
