This year’s T in the Park was the biggest and best yet for many of the 85,000 music fans who flocked to the fields of Balado.
The STV team braved the weather and sea of noodles, plastic cups and goodness-knows-what that engulfed the main arena, to enjoy the music and chat to some of the fans about what makes T in the Park their favourite festival in the world.
So were you amongst those we caught on camera? In the video above we spoke to a mild mannered English couple who were seeking solace in the Healthy T area and although they seemed a little shocked by the madness of it all, admitted they had enjoyed the weekend.
We also chatted to some more fans from South of the border, who were still dressed up from Fancy Dress Friday and were clearly embracing the frivolities of the festival.
When we first arrived at T, the heavens opened so we headed to the campsite to see how the weather was affecting festival goer’s spirits. From what we saw, it wasn’t, and some brave fans were even sitting outside their tents literally soaking up the campsite atmosphere!
We chatted to everyone from girls who had just been to the Refresh area to straighten their hair (this was an extremely popular area throughout the weekend), to a bunch of bananas who told stv.tv reporter Laura Boyd that the rain merely helps them grow – fruity!
Throughout the weekend our snapper was on hand to not only capture bands like Biffy Clyro (topless of course), Muse and Dizzee Rascal but also to capture shots of the crowd.
