Viva la diva: Eminem refuses to get dirty
Eminem was the highlight act for many fans at T in the Park last night but whilst he eventually stormed his set, he initially nearly stormed off site as he refused to walk across the mud to reach the stage.
According to reports, the US star did not want to get his feet muddy walking across the rain-soaked ground, which caused chaos for T in the Park staff.
The Daily Record reports that festival organisers were forced to hire a coach to transport Eminem the short journey to the Main Stage, all to save his precious sneakers!
Thankfully he drew the line at having to be carried to the coach. He instead looked ‘super-cool’ with plastic bags round his feet.
No such diva action was seen from hardy Brit babes like Diana Vickers and Paloma Faith who were happy to brave the mud in skyscraper heels.
The Proclaimers told stv.tv that weather never dampens T fans spirits and Scouting for Girls added that the crowd was like a “sea of merry ponchos.”
For many fans though, Eminem, diva demands and all, was simply worth the wait.
