While the rest of us slum it in ponchos, ill fitting wellies and those denim hotpants that were supposed to be festival ‘must-haves’ (magazines clearly didn’t account for Scottish weather), the stars of T in the Park live it up backstage with hairdressers on tap, relaxing massages and the best goodie bags we have ever seen.
Amy, from promotions company Eskimo, told stv.tv reporter Laura Boyd that T acts have been lapping up the luxury gifts on offer including clothes, shoes and some interestingly named watches!
She showed us adorable little Kickers boots that BBC presenter Edith Bowman had snapped up for her son Rudy.
Fashionista Diana Vickers had also been relishing the freebies, taking home flowery Kickers sandshoes, stunning Zandra Rhodes skyscraper heels and a pretty Lipsy dress. It wouldn’t surprise us if rising fashion icon Diana follows in the footsteps of Pixie Lott and actually has her own range of Lipsy frocks in the future.
Paloma Faith and Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas were also fans of the goodie bags but it wasn’t just the ladies who enjoyed the luxuries. Paolo Nutini’s model girlfriend was backstage picking out clothes for her boy and Maxi Jazz from Faithless wore one of the Muff Dive watches – yes, that is what they are called.
Will.i.am got some Harley Davidson clothes and UGG boots proved ever popular with the celeb world.
There were even breath freshners for those who had indulged in to much garlic bread at the luxury catering truck.Oh to live like a star!
