stv.tv reporter Laura Boyd chatted to the Dykeenies after their set on the NME Stage at T in the Park, and they revealed quite a few ‘interesting’ revelations…
Revelation number one: The boys got free Ugg boots – lead singer Brian Henderson chose pink ones.
Revelation number two: Brian spoke about Blur’s headline set at T in the Park telling us: “Me and Damon go along way back so he’ll probably ask me to go up and sing with him. If it's Bettlebum I'll do it.” Didn’t see him on stage, did you?
Revelation number three: Brian seems to be the man of the moment. When Laura asked him if The Dykeenies would be back next year he said: “I spoke to Geoff Ellis and he said next year headliners – Friday and Saturday. I went “Geoff has that been done before?” He said: “no Brian but I’m doing it for you.””
So there you go, The Dykeenies – best friends with Blur and headlining two nights on the mainstage at T in the Park 2010.
