Here we are at T in the Park, and the signs are looking great for a fantastic weekend, with even the sun paying a timely visit to the festival site.
There were a couple of wrong turns along the way but - hey! – that all adds to the fun of the first day, as well as offering up the chance to sample some of Scotland’s finest scenery.
And it’s been a lovely day at the site so far, the sun out in full force, and how could it possibly think of disappearing with such a fine line-up?
(I’ll regret saying that if it starts bucketing down by the time I’ve sauntered all the way to the main stage to see The Mars Volta kicking things off, my waterproof gear and wellies in a tent far, far away…)
We’ve already had some quick chats with The Maccabees, Temper Trap and Pearl and the Puppets, watch out for those later.
All seem in good spirits, though things are only really going to get into gear once the gates to the main site open at 5pm. From the looks of it Balado’s prepared for what’s to come, but are we? Watch this space…
