T in the Park: Kate Nash moves from piano to punk princess

Video: stv.tv popped in on quirky Foundation's singer Kate Nash ahead of her performance at T in the Park. In a bit of a girl power fuelled chat with reporter Laura Boyd, Kate spoke of her love for festivals, missing her boyfriend Ryan of The Cribs and a very interesting side project.

The first person not to complain about the weather, the striking Kate Nash explained, “London’s too hot” and appeared quite happy to be here where mud rivers run free.

An incredibly enthusiastic festival fan, rather than get nervous Kate revels in the unknown, stating no sound checks and uncertainty “makes it magical”.

In a bold turn of style Nash is also involved in a side project, The Receeders, an all girl punk band where she plays bass.

Back to her singer/songwriter roots, chat moved on to Laura Marling for who Miss Nash only had admiration and praise.

Kate was also happy to chat about boyfriend Ryan Jarman of The Cribs revealing their festival paths sadly rarely cross but she did say she was looking forward to chillin in Balado and catching Jamie T.
