Delphic talked to STV before their return performance at T in the Park about their association with Cheryl Cole, and what they've been up to in the past year - though they helped themselves to some appropriate refreshments first.

In 2009 they played at the Scottish festival for the first time, one of the first bands on the Futures Stage on the Saturday.

Our reporter Michael MacLennan was there to review them, and noted at the time how they seemed set to perform before bigger crowds.

Fortunately he was right, and this time the band found themselves as one of the main acts performing at the same stage on the Friday night, set to find themselves a more appreciative audience.

It's been a fantastic year for the band, who secured a place on the coveted BBC Sounds of 2010 list, and released debut album Acolyte at the start of the year.

At this year's festival we talked to them about their sound, their current influences - and what Cheryl Cole though of their cover of 3 Words.
