Len Goodman isn't surprised couples fall in love on 'Strictly Come Dancing' - because they spend so much time training together.
The BBC One show has seen many celebrities fall for their professional partner in the past - including Kara Tointon, Natasha Kaplinsky and Matt Di Angelo - and head judge Len admits it's a very intense and ''sensual'' experience.
He told Yahoo! Lifestyle: ''The thing is you are together as a couple for a long time, aren't you? Hours upon hours, days after days. I think if the professional is single and the celebrity is single, what does it matter? Great! That's lovely.
''Of course it is [very sensual], you're up close and personal, you're touching one another, you've got body contact and everything else, things happen.''
And former dancer Len - who is joined on the judging panel by Craig Revel Horwood, Darcey Bussell and Bruno Tonioli - admits it was dancing that brought him and his first wife together in the first place.
He said: ''That's how I met my first wife [Cherry Kingston] - dancing. We were dance partners together and we were dancing and we went out together and eventually we got married.
''But the problem was, once we stopped dancing, that was the end of it all! But that's how it is.''
