Michelle Keegan hopes her 'Coronation Street' character gets back with her boyfriend soon.
The actress' alter-ego Tina McIntyre was dumped by Tommy Duckworth (Chris Fountain) after he found out she is carrying a surrogate baby for friends Gary Windass and Izzy Armstrong, but Michelle thinks they are well suited and hopes they reunite soon.
She said: ''I like Tina and Tommy together. I think they really suit each other. Hopefully the writers won't split them up for good because the public really likes them together, too. Fingers crossed.''
The 25-year-old star - who split from her The Wanted fiance Max George in July - also said acting with a prosthetic bump is making her broody and she now wants a baby of her own.
She added: ''I've always wanted to be a mum. And I keep on wanting to rub the baby bump, which is made of sponge. Which is weird. I do need some maternity trousers, though - there's nothing in the crotch in these low-rise jeans. You can see my knickers. I'll have to wear leggings.''
