Helen Flanagan wins 12 stars

Helen Flanagan won 12 stars in her sixth Bushtucker Trial.

The former 'Coronation Street' star had infuriated her 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' campmates by bringing home no meals for the group in her previous efforts, but she turned over a new leaf and won everything up for grabs in Deadly Delivery, which involved her thrusting her head into perspex boxes of jungle creatures to win stars.

Watching her progress, astonished host Ant McPartlin exclaimed: ''Who are you, and what have you done with Helen Flanagan?''

Finishing the trial, Helen was close to tears over her accomplishment.

She said: ''I've never been so happy.

''I've never been so proud of myself - I feel on cloud nine. I can't tell you how scared I was.''

The camp were then treated to a meal of wallaby steaks as a result of her efforts.

Despite Helen's success, it wasn't enough to stop the public voting for her and she was selected for last night's (18.11.12) live trial, A Bad Day at the Office.

She quickly said ''I'll do it'' when asked to take part and had a mixed experience.

The 22-year-old beauty easily won the first star, but declined to take part in the second part of the task, which involved 'photocopying' her face and putting her head in a photocopier filled with bugs to rummage with her teeth to find two stars.

Stage three involved removing stars from boxes of creatures, and although she obtained both, she lost one as she failed to correctly identify its guardians as scorpions, 'filling' it with spiders instead.

She picked up a star at the fourth and fifth stations - a vending machine and tea break - but missed three at the next stage, a lift in which gunge and insects poured down on her.

The final stage involved searching a filing cabinet of rats for two stars, but she found only one before running out of time.

Meanwhile, co-host Declan Donnelly believes Helen can now go on to win the show.

He told the Daily Star newspaper: ''It seems she's having a journey and she could turn this around. I don't think she'd given anything 100 per cent until we had her sixth trial and it's been a bit of a sea change. Now she could win this.''
