Tom Daley may have lost out on an Olympic medal during the Men’s Synchronised 10m Platform Final, but he’s certainly gained a host of fans, including one or two famous faces.
The latest celeb to pledge their love for the super fit 18-year-old is Girls Aloud Star Sarah Harding.
The gorgeous 30-year-old confessed her crush on the diver during an interview with Star magazine, when she was asked which celeb would be her ideal man.
She said: “I’m loving Tom Daley, but he’s much younger than me and I don’t fancy being a cougar.”
Well Sarah, that hasn’t stopped your bandmate Cheryl Cole flirting with the sportsman.
Chezza recently Tweeted: "@tomdaley1994 I think you are amazing! Will you teach me how to swan dive?"
A delighted Tom replied: "@cherylcole Of course!!! But first you need to follow me ;)"
And it seems it’s not only the ladies who are loving watching Mr Daley show off his impressive, erm, skills.
One Direction star Louis Tomlinson is a big fan, pledging his support to the British diver during the Games.
Ahead of Tom’s solo Olympics bid this Friday, Louis Tweeted: “@TomDaley1994 mate, best of luck for the individual. I'll be watching !!”
Tom has become a leading light in British sport, and many were moved by a documentary, which aired earlier last month, showing his journey to the Olympics and the heartbreak he went through last year, when his beloved father lost his battle with cancer.
Louis was extremely touched by the programme and impressed with Tom’s dedication to his goals, and he Tweeted: “Sat watching @tomdaley1994 's doc on BBC. Very moving, seems a great guy!”
Now Sarah, Cheryl and Louis, along with the rest of the nation, are set to watch Tom make a final bid for Olympic glory when he takes to the diving board this Friday. Good luck Tom!
