Niall Horan and Demi Lovato have eXciting date lined up

With Harry Styles said to be dating model Cara Delevingne, Niall Horan is the only single member of One Direction… but that could be about to change.

After months of flirting and chatting with Disney princess Demi Lovato, largely via Skype, the pair are said to be looking forward to a face to face (and perhaps lip to lip) catch up, when they attend the MTV Video Music Awards on September 6.

Niall and Demi have been linked for months after 19-year-old Demi admitted she had a crush on the Irish heartthrob, saying “he’s so adorable.”

Niall repaid the compliment by dubbing the star his “dream girl” but with hectic schedules keeping them apart, they have so far only been conducting their friendship via the power of the internet.

That will change in September when One Direction, who are nominated for two awards, perform at the VMAs – a chance for Niall to show off his talents to 1D lover Demi.

Niall’s big bro Greg has been speaking about his sibling’s lack of love, telling Heat magazine that he simply “doesn’t have time” for romance at the moment.

But he did confirm that gorgeous Demi and Niall are very good friends and that he has also chatted to her over Skype.

The 25-year-old said: “Niall would like a girl like that. A girl that deep down, really, really understands the life.

“What the boys go through, nobody else can understand. They’d be good for each other.” We agree.
