Pregnant Imogen Thomas raced to hospital to be checked over yesterday, after the star noticed a show of blood, causing her to fear for the worst.
Luckily the reality TV personality was found to be “fine” after medics checked her over at a clinic in London and she was soon sent on her way.
Writing on Twitter, Imogen, 29, posted a message thanking the hospital team for looking after her.
She wrote: “Thank u to the fabulous doctor and midwife this morning. Had such a fright but all is ok now and baby seems fine :-) x.”
The star’s spokeswoman also told The Sun: “She had a small amount of clotting and panicked. But she was told everything was fine so she’s extremely relieved.”
Imogen announced her baby joy earlier this week, debuting her baby bump as she confirmed she is expecting.
She said: “I can’t believe how happy I am. What happened last year was utterly horrendous.
“I never thought I would find happiness again but finding love then falling pregnant has transformed my life.
“I can’t wait to be the best mum I possibly can be. I am so, so excited.”
The baby will be the first for the model and reality TV star and her boyfriend of 10 months Adam Horsley.
Imogen is convinced she’s expecting a little girl, because she’s been suffering from a bad bout of morning sickness, as well as craving lots of starchy potato dishes – just like her mum did when she was pregnant with Imogen.
The baby joy comes after the star went through a tough time last year following the Ryan Giggs scandal, in which she was alleged to have had an affair with the married footballer.
Now the brunette beauty is excited to move on and said she is looking forward to a bright future.
“I’m really excited to finally come out and say, ‘I’m going to be a mummy’. Last year was a nightmare. Now I’m the happiest I’ve ever been."
