Kim Sears has delighted fans by posting an adorable picture of her puppies sporting boyfriend Andy Murray’s Olympic medals.

Kim ghost-writes a Twitter account for Maggie May – one of the dogs she shares with the Scottish tennis star – and she Tweeted a pic of Maggie and puppy pal Rusty looking rather bemused wearing Andy’s gold and silver medals.

She wrote: “Here we go folks… just checking to make sure Rusty definitely has the silver, obviously.”

Kim, like the rest of the nation, is clearly proud of her champion boyfriend and the pair shared an emotional public display of affection when Andy ran to her arms (and lips) on Sunday, after beating Roger Federer in the Olympics men’s singles final at Centre Court on Wimbledon.

The 25-year-old tennis ace credits Kim with being his rock throughout the highs and lows of his career, picking up the pieces when he lost out in the men’s final at Wimbledon in June.

He told The Sun: “Having her around after the final – it was a tough loss for me – she helped pick me up.”

Kim is a rising star in her own right, with many fashionistas likening her to Kate Middleton, with her flowing locks, enviable figure and chic style.

The couple live together in a £5 million mansion in Surrey but while Andy continues to push his game to the limit, they often spend long periods apart.

This type of relationship wouldn’t suit everyone but Kim is the perfect companion for Andy as she knows exactly what it means to be involved in the tennis world as her father, Nigel Sears, is a famous coach.

Andy told Ok! magazine: “She understands the game and that there’s a lot of travelling.

“We can spend six or seven weeks apart from each other sometimes but she’s been through that with her father, so that’s useful.”

And while Andy’s away, it gives Kim time to concentrate on her hobbies as she is an aspiring actress and artists, often painting her beloved four-legged friends.

Could wedding bells be on the cards? Andy said: “I haven’t proposed yet – no matter how much she is trying to push me. I haven’t fallen for it yet.”
