Robert Pattinson agrees to first TV interview since Kristen Stewart split

All eyes will be firmly fixed on Robert Pattinson next week as the star gets ready to give his first interview since Kristen Stewart cheated on him.

The 26-year-old Brit hunk is believed to have split from Kristen, 22, after she admitted to a “momentary indiscretion” with married movie director Rupert Sanders, who directed her in Snow White and the Huntsman.

Rob hasn’t spoken publicly since the stories of Kristen’s betrayal emerged at the end of July. In fact he only showed his face first time at the weekend, as he put his worries to one side to enjoy a night out in Ojai, California.

Now everyone will be watching to see if the star opens up about his personal drama – or if he keeps schtum when he gives his first live TV interview since the scandal, on hit US show Good Morning America on August 15.

Movie lovers were left shocked when formerly squeaky clean Kristen released a statement in July, apologising for cheating on Rob, after photos of her kissing father-of-two Rupert emerged.

The actress had been dating her Twilight co-star Rob for around three years, although the couple were always notoriously private and never spoke publicly about their life together.

Rob and Kristen – nicknamed R-Pattz and K-Stew – lived together in a luxurious mansion in Los Feliz in Los Angeles together. But just a few days ago removal vans were spotted taking belongings away – believed to be Kristen’s - from the hillside pad.

Cosmopolis actor Robert, meanwhile, is thought to have moved in with his Water For Elephants co-star Reece Witherspoon and her husband Tim Toth, who offered him a sanctuary to escape to following the split.
