Dannii Minogue could be set to dazzle us all with her dancing skills, if rumours that the Australian stunner is set to join Strictly Come Dancing are true.
The 40-year-old is being tipped to become one of this year’s celebrity contestants, if TV bosses can convince her to take part.
As a pop star, Dannii could no doubt more than hold her own on the dancefloor as she battled against fellow stars for the glitter ball trophy.
And it seem show bosses are determined to land the brunette beauty for their new series, which starts later this year.
A 'TV insider' told the Daily Record: “The Strictly team would love to have Dannii as a contestant. She ticks all the right boxes and would be a huge attraction.
“There has been a series of talks and the ball was very much left in her court.”
Dannii is a reality TV darling, currently appearing as a panellist on Australia’s Got Talent and previously acting as an X Factor judge up until 2010, so it’s not hard to see why she’s an attractive candidate for the competitive dance show.
Other stars rumoured to be getting ready to don their dancing shoes for this year’s series of Strictly include former England cricket captain Michael Vaughan, who show bosses are said to be hoping will, ahem, bowl audiences over.
Strictly host Bruce Forsyth’s wife Wilnelia was also tipped to join the show, after she said she'd love to take part – but admitted competing could cause a few issues.
Wilnelia said: “I’d love to but I think it would be difficult, you know, with him [Bruce] being the host. It'd be very difficult.
"I don't think he'd be able to take all the judges' comments."
EastEnders actress Charlie Brooks is also being tipped to join up to this year’s dancing show.
As well as a whole host of new competitors, this year’s judging panel will be given a shake-up, as former ballerina Darcey Bussell replaces Alesha Dixon, who quit Strictly to become a judge on Britain’ Got Talent.
