One Direction’s Louis and Liam step things up a gear with their girlfriends

Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne have cranked things up a gear with their girlfriends - by splashing their hard-earned cash on swanky new cars for them.

Just days after whisking his politics student girlfriend Eleanor Calder away on a romantic mini-break to Paris, One Direction hunk Louis also bought the lucky lady an up-to-the-minute (and very fittingly titled) Mini One D.

The clearly besotted singer also opted a slightly less flash gift for Eleanor too – a Yorkshire Tea mug and some teabags, The Sun reports. Everyone enjoys a good cuppa after all…

These are just the latest in a long line of pressies Louis has given Eleanor for her 20th, with the star also organising for R&B superstar Rihanna to sing her a personalised birthday message which she then posted online for all to see.

Louis was so delighted that he Tweeted the Barbados-born star, writing: "@rihanna Thank you so so much for doing the birthday message for Eleanor!! Take care X”

And on top of all of that (as if that wasn’t enough), Louis also organised for the Cake Store UK to create a super cute cake featuring a  Disney princess castle, a backdrop of fireworks and two figures cuddling up together on a bench, clearly meant to be him and Eleanor. We’re well jel…

Louis isn’t the only hopeless romantic in One Direction though, as it turns out Liam has also been splashing out on his lovely lady too, buying his dancer girlfriend Danielle Peazer a swanky Audi TT, for no reason other than to treat her.

A source told the paper: “The lads have plenty of dosh and are very generous with it.

“They love their girlfriends to bits, so they surprised them with new motors. The girls are delighted.”
