Louis Tomlinson’s extra sweet Rihanna treat for Eleanor

Louis Tomlinson certainly knows how to treat a girl, after arranging a host of amazing birthday treats for his gorgeous girlfriend Eleanor Calder.

The One Direction star put his superstar status to good use as he called in a favour from Eleanor’s favourite singer, Rihanna.

Ri Ri took time out from her holiday to record an extra special rendition of happy birthday for Eleanor, which she then put online.

How amazing is that? It’s like Sweet Sixteen, although in Eleanor’s case, it more Sweet Twentieth.

Louis Tweeted: "@rihanna Thank you so so much for doing the birthday message for Eleanor!! Take care X”

But Mr Tomlinson’s efforts didn’t stop there.

As well as showering Eleanor with a host of lavish gifts, he also organised the sweetest present of all – a huge cake, from the Cake Store UK, which features a Disney princess castle, a backdrop of fireworks and two little icing figures cuddling on a bench, clearly meant to be Louis and Eleanor. Anyone planning a gypsy wedding is sure to have been green with envy.

Piped in icing, it read: “Happy birthday Eleanor, lot’s of love Louis X.”

He tweeted a picture of his purchase and wrote: "This is actually the most amazing cake I have ever seen!! Highly recommend , Thank you soooo much !!”

He then added: “A very happy birthday to my lovely girlfriend @eleanorjcalder. Love you lots and lots. #happybirthdayeleanor."

My word! Although Louis’ PR team were recently forced to deny reports that the pair had got engaged while on holiday in France, there’s certainly a lot of love between this adorable couple. Not that we’re well jel at all…

Wonder if Zayn Malik was so generous with his Little Mix lady Perrie Edwards, who also recently celebrated her birthday?

Just like Louis, Zayn took to Twitter to send his girl a birthday message, writing: “” very special happy birthday to my baby perrie ! :D x mwah love you x”

But we didn’t see any evidence of a cake or message from an A-list superstar, eh Zayn? Louis has given his fellow his 1Ders a lot to live up to.
