Emma Willis was ''absolutely terrified'' when she was asked to present 'This Morning'.
The host was asked to take on the role in February alongside Philip Schofield and she admits she had to work hard to ''hold it together'' when she was working on the ITV show, on which she will be appearing again this summer.
She said: ''I was absolutely terrified -- the most terrified I've ever been about a job. 'This Morning' has such loyal followers and such loyal viewers that the presenters' word holds a lot. It's terrifying that you might not do what the audience like.
''And it's scary working with someone like Phillip Schofield, who is an icon in the presenting world. He's got so much experience and he's so brilliant at what he does. You sit next to him and you're just trying to hold it together.''
However, Emma - who is married to Matt Willis, who is currently starring in 'Wicked' - admits it was not the scariest job she has ever undertaken.
She added to The Sun newspaper: ''A few years ago I climbed a rock face on 'Adrenaline Junkie' for ITV2 and slept on a ledge 500 metres off the ground overnight in a storm. That was scary. 'This Morning' is terrifying but you know you are going to survive.''
