Justin Bieber has become such a huge fan of “soccer” that he’s hoping to get One Direction and rapper Bow Wow join up to a football squad he’s setting up.
The teen singer, 18, would love to see David Beckham coach the dream team and is planning to “personally” ask the football legend to get involved.
The Canadian Girlfriend singer's squad would follow on in the footsteps of stars such as Robbie Williams and Vinnie Jones, who have also established celebrity squads.
Speaking to the Daily Star, Justin said: “I’ve been playing a lot of soccer over the last two or three years. I’ve been really enjoying it.
“I know there’s an LA celebrity team that Robbie Williams was in, but I am looking to start a team for the younger guys. The One Direction guys said that they’ll play and also Bow Wow.
“There’s only one guy we want to coach the team and that is David Beckham.”
He continued: “It’s not like we will be playing a game every week. It will, in reality probably only be about three or four games a season.
“I am going to personally ask David myself and I’m really hoping he will say yes.
“And we will play only 10 minutes from his house.”
If this does go ahead we can guarantee these football matches would be games the STV Entertainment girls would be up for watching!
