Katie Holmes has revealed that she has started to feel sexier as she has gotten older.
The former Dawson’s Creek actress has admitted that she didn’t have much confidence in her 20s, but now that she’s in her 30s she has become much more comfortable in her own skin.
Speaking to Elle magazine shortly before her split from husband Tom Cruise, Katie said: “I always felt like a little girl before. I didn’t even know what sexy was.
“Anytime you feel good about yourself, you embody sexiness. It’s almost like a power or a confidence or a secret. I definitely feel much more comfortable in my own skin.
“I feel sexier. I think in my 20s, it’s like you’re trying too hard to figure everything out. I’m starting to come into my own. It’s like a new phase.”
Katie has reportedly been granted full custody of her six-year-old daughter Suri following her split from Tom.
Tom’s strict devotion to Scientology is rumoured to be one of the factors contributing to the divorce.
