Myleene Klass is getting ready for an awkward face-to-face with her ex Graham Quinn at the starry wedding of JLS star Marvin Humes and The Saturdays singer Rochelle Wiseman next month.
The couple, whose split after just six weeks of marriage was announced at the start of June, are both close friends of the bride and groom, and have both been invited to attend their upcoming nuptials.
Graham managed boyband JLS for years, while TV presenter, singer and classical musician Myleene has become friendly with Rochelle through the showbiz circuit.
And according to The Sun, despite the fact that their relationship woes have been very much in the limelight in recent days, neither of them is prepared to give up their place at the glitzy wedding.
A source told The Sun: “They’ve both got reason to be there. Graham is an usher, but then Myleene has grown close to Rochelle over the years.
“The feeling is why should she give up her invite when she’s done nothing wrong? She doesn’t see why she should shy away from it.
“If they do both end up going, they will have to avoid each other. But it’ll be hard.”
News of Myleene and Graham’s split came as a shock in the showbiz industry; the couple had been together 11 years, much longer than many other celebrity relationships, and the couple had finally taken the plunge and made their marriage vows to each other in October last year.
But things were clearly not as harmonious as they seemed, and the pair decided to call it a day, with Graham believed to be the one who instigated the split.
He is reported to have walked out on Myleene on her 34th birthday, which he denies, before moving into a new pad just days later.
Neither has confirmed the reason behind the break-up, but earlier this week former bodyguard Graham spoke out to set the record straight on some of the rumours surrounding the relationship.
He told yesterday’s edition of The Mirror that he was angry at some of stories, telling the paper: "Who in their right mind would drop someone on their birthday? I'm not sick in the head, do you know what I mean?
“Especially after 11 years with the girl. You know, I have respect for her. I'd never do something like that... I feel like a scapegoat right now.”
He added: “There's been so much fabrication. It's ridiculous to be honest. I haven't been in the country for two-and-a-half to three months and all of a sudden I'm everywhere. People wrote that I left her. But I didn't leave her on her birthday. I didn't get a house after four days. Everything is rubbish.
"There's two sides to every story there which I'm not going to go into. But unfortunately we're living in the public eye and we've got to work together to sort our kids out."
