Kate Middleton has played a key role in marking the Diamond Jubilee celebrations over the last few days, but now the Duchess has turned her attention to another celebration altogether – Prince William’s 30th birthday.

The Duchess of Cambridge is said to be doing everything in her power to make sure her husband’s big 3-0 is a day to remember, and is “pulling out all the stops” to mark William’s day style.

Kate, who turned 30 herself in January, is believed to have been having top secret meetings with the Prince’s closest friends, planning a bash that’ll be out of this world.

A ‘Royal insider’ told Now magazine: “Kate really wants to make Wills' birthday one to remember and she's pulling out all the stops.”

Prince William turns 30 on June 21, and it’s no doubt important for Kate to make a bit of a fuss over her husband of just over one year.

The couple have spent a significant part of 2012 apart, with the Prince posted on RAF duty in the Falkland Islands earlier this year for six weeks.

They have also been spending a lot of time with the rest of the Royal Family recently, with Kate and Wills playing a central role in the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations, the focus of which took place during the central celebration weekend from June 2-5.

So it’s understandable that Kate will now be keen to put the focus back on her beloved William – and is said to be planning a very personal birthday celebration full of romance.

Kate celebrated her own 30th with a “low key” dinner for close family and friends, so it’s clearly on her mind to make sure that William’s big day is surrounded by those he loves.

And the busy Duchess has not only been planning a special bash for Wills, but is also thought to have been organising a truly personal gift for her husband’s 30th too, with the help of father-in-law Prince Charles – a painting of herself.

Earlier this year it was reported that Kate has been sitting for artist Nicky Philipps, who has been capturing the Duchess on canvas.
