Prince Harry, tonight could be your lucky night: Cheryl Cole is set to perform a duet with Gary Barlow as part of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Concert.
And what’s the point of being the Queen’s grandson without getting access to a backstage pass and meeting the talent. eh?
According to The Telegraph, Cheryl will team up with event organiser Gary for an Xtra special duet of Need You Now.
A source told the Daily Mirror: "There are already huge names appearing on the bill but Cheryl is the cherry on top.
"She is one of the biggest stars in Britain and will ensure young people tune into the concert.
"She doesn't do many live appearances but when Gary asked her she couldn't turn him or the Queen down."
They continued: "She is promising a spectacular performance and I am sure the Princes will all be happy she is on the bill."
Yesterday, Cheryl professed her love for the Royals, Tweeting: “Feeling Patriotic.. I <3 our Royal Family.. *bbmeyelashface* #QueensJubilee ,” adding a picture of bunting.
Cheryl has made no secret of the fact the Queen isn’t the only royal she has a soft spot for.
Earlier this year she admitted to having a crush on Prince Harry, when, during a Q&A session for Marie Claire, a fan asked if she knew the prince "fancied" her.
She replied: "I do! I love Prince Harry. Actually, I had a dream last night I married Prince Harry and was a real-life princess.
"It's true. And Charles was my father-in-law instead of my charity partner!"
We’ll see the pop princess and a host of the world’s most impressive stars when the Diamond Jubilee concert airs on BBC1 from 7.30 tonight. More details about the show here.
