Kylie Minogue has proved she’s a cheeky wee scamp after challenging Pippa Middleton to a “bum-off” this weekend, during the Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

Both ladies are famous for their shapely rears, but Kylie lost her title of “best bum” after her stint as big sister Duchess Kate’s maid of honour at the Royal wedding last April.

The girls will both be attending key events during the central Jubilee celebrations this weekend, with Kylie performing at the Diamond Jubilee Concert, and Pippa expected to attend the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant.

And Miss Minogue is taking the opportunity to win back the crown for herself .

Talking to Alan Carr on tonight’s episode of Chatty Man, The Sun revealed the star is asked whether she’s going to have a “bum-off” with Pippa, to which she replies: “I’m going to have to.

“I’ll definitely have to (bend over and) pick something up off the ground.”

We’re sure that’ll certainly keep the assembled crowds more than entertained!

This weekend boasts an array of exciting events staged in London to celebrate Queen Elizabeth’s 60 year reign.

The Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant will see more than 1,000 vessels gather on the river for what is set to be a truly spectacular scene. The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and Prince Harry will travel on the royal barge, the Spirit of Chartwell.

Pippa Middleton, her brother James, and parents Carole and Michael are expected to join the Pageant’s Royal party, sailing on the Elizabethan, a replica 1890s Mississippi paddle steamer.

The Diamond Jubilee Concert will be attended by thousands and expected to be watched on TV by millions, and will see performers such as Kylie, Sir Elton John and Dame Shirly Bassey perform.

Other events include the State Procession and a Thanksgiving service in St Paul's Cathedral.

Alan Carr: Chatty Man is on Channel 4 at 10pm tonight.
