Scottish magician Ryan Davidson gets mouthy with card trick

We have once again been left scratching our heads at Ryan Davidson’s latest magical escapades.

As an excited group of teenagers surrounded the magician at Silverburn shopping centre, he took the opportunity to pull out one of his most impressive tricks yet.

When one young lady chose a card and wrote her name on it, little did she know it would later be jumping out of the deck at her.

Furthermore, Ryan then made the card vanish in front of the group’s eyes – and ours (we have watched this video numerous times and still can’t work out how he did it) before making it appear in somewhere you would never expect. You could say it is ‘sick.’

Watch the magic unfold in the video player above.

Fancy checking out more of Ryan? There are a just a few tickets left for his critically acclaimed show Past Times of the Strange – an Evening of Magic and Mind Reading – at Glasgow’s Buff Club on Thursday May 24. More details here.

Ryan, 26, is a rising star in the magic world, following on from the likes of Dynamo and David Blaine, who have sparked renewed interest in the skilled art.

The Castlemilk lad may be a fan of the magic masters, but it was actually a chance meeting with a hustler, while on holiday in Greece, that ignited his own interest in magic.

When Ryan returned from soaking up the sun, his research into modern con artists and card cheats inevitably crossed over into the art of magic and he has been a serious student of the art ever since.

Mastering his art through a host of corporate events, weddings and parties, the buzz surrounding Ryan has led to a host of sell-out shows and has seen him become one of the most in-demand magicians in Scotland.

If you want to catch Ryan in action, visit his official website and stay tuned to stv.tv/entertainment, where we will be bringing you more of his marvellous magic moments in the coming weeks.

IT'S A KIND OF MAGIC
