Kate Middleton has more than earned her stripes as a style icon over the last few months, and the fashionista showed exactly why as she stepped out on another shopping trip at the weekend.
Stunning Kate, 30, loves to mix both high end couture and high street to giver her the groomed but achievable look she’s become known for.
And on Saturday the Duchess picked up another of her now-famous high street bargains, settling on a pretty blue silk vest top from French Connection.
According to Entertainmentwise, Kate browsed through the shops on Kings Road in London, dressed down in a white t-shirt, cream cardigan and black trousers, as she hunted out new pieces for her collection.
A langoustine dinner plate priced at £24 – no doubt for all those home cooked dinners she’s whipping up for Prince William - and a chic Ines column dress, which sells for £158, were among the items Kate looked at in one store, before leaving empty handed.
But the Duchess finally found what she was looking for as she carried on with her shopping spree, with Kate’s guards also spotted carrying a number of bags from Jaeger.
Kate’s a big fan of high street shopping, having previously snapped up bargains including a £69.99 dress from Zara and a Reiss dress for £175.
She also works designer labels well, recently wowing at a prestigious dining event at Claridges in London in a full-length Roland Mouret Lombarde white cream dress, as well as attracting admiring glances at the recent Olympic Gala in a teal Jenny Packham gown with lace detailing at the back and on the sleeves. The Duchess finished both outfits off with a pair of killer Jimmy Choo sandals, which perfectly elongated her shapely legs.
