Glasgow cocktail bar Bluedog has unveiled a new look in time for its 10th birthday, boasting a New York-style interior.

The renowned venue, which has undergone a five-figured makeover, has also overhauled its cocktail list, offering a tantalising array of new drinks including specials such as Eva the Diva, which is a taste-bud tingling blend of peach liqueur, elderflower liqueur, grapefruit bitters and prosecco.

Visitors can relax in the bar which boasts a loft style interior with exposed brick feature walls, stylish wood panelling and re-upholstered banquette seating.

Putting more focus on entertainment, the bar also has a brand new stage space installed for the popular jazz nights.

The launch night for the bar was held last night, allowing invited guests the chance to see the new surrounds. Speaking about the chance to unveil the new-look venue, manager Matthew Ronald said: “With Blue Dog approaching its 10th Birthday, it’s a great feeling being able to throw a party showing fresh interiors and an innovative new cocktail list.

“We are passionate about what we do and we strive to continue to be better year upon year. I’m proud to be involved in a venue that continues to evolve and improve.”

Alan Tomkins, director of Blue Dog, who also owns Glasgow venues Vroni's Wine Bar and Urban Bar & Brasserie, added: “We hope to have achieved stylish surrounds, great cocktails and quality entertainment.”
