Tulisa may have filled Cheryl Cole’s glamorous shoes on the X Factor judging panel, but there are no hard feelings between the gorgeous girls.

On the contrary; Cheryl contacted Tulisa to offer her support when the infamous ‘sex tape’ hit the internet last month.

Tulisa told The Mirror: “I’ve been in touch with Cheryl.

“I actually had a really nice text from her after my ‘hoo-hah’ a couple of weeks ago, offering her support.”

And Cheryl’s not the only one to help Tulisa through a difficult few weeks, which saw her often sleep on the bathroom floor as she was so depressed.

As well as support from her family and friends, Simon Cowell insisted the incident wouldn’t affect Tulisa’s role on The X Factor.

"Tulisa doesn't have to apologise for anything. The only person who has to apologise is the scumbag who sold the tape," said Cowell, at the Britain’s Got Talent press launch.

"It's private, it's intimate and she did nothing wrong. People do these things in the bedroom believe it or not. I feel very sorry for her. He's a scumbag and I feel very, very angry about this."

He added: "It makes no difference with me about her coming back on the show - 100 per cent."

Tulisa gave a heartfelt interview on Alan Carr’s Chatty Man last week, telling the host she feared the nation would think she was a “slapper.”

She added: "I have been surprised by how nice everyone has been. I haven't done anything wrong, so any normal person would be like, 'She's human'."

Things seem to be on the up for the 23-year-old star: as her first solo single, Young, looks set to be number one in the charts this weekend, she was also named FHM’s Sexiest Woman in the World.
