One Direction’s Zayn Malik and Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards flirt on Twitter

One Direction cutie Zayn Malik and Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards have ignited yet more rumours of a romance, after openly flirting on Twitter.

The pair have been linked together ever since Little Mix made their mark on The X Factor last year, but have never confirmed any actual love interest in one another.

But it looks like romantic feelings might just have developed between the pair in recent weeks, with the cute duo both taking to the social networking site to thank one another - very publicly, for all to see - for a night on the tiles.

Perrie kicked off the exchange, Tweeting: “Just went to see avengers assemble and it was #boring. Good night though! xD @zaynmalik.”

Zayn – who makes up one-fifth of boyband-of-the-moment One Direction, then replied in a flirty manner, writing: “@PerrieLittleMix yeah tonight was fun lets do it again sometime ;) x x.”

The pair have been linked on various occasions in the past, with Zayn admitting showbiz journalist Dan Wooton in February that he and blonde bombshell Perrie were “texting and talking”.

But in the interview for Now magazine he then followed this up by saying there was nothing more to their exchanges, adding: “But we’re just really good mates.”

Pretty Perrie was even said to have her eye on Zayn’s bandmate Niall Horan instead, with Leigh-Anne Pinnock from Little Mix telling We Love Pop Magazine: “Perrie’s got a little crush on Niall.” She then added: “I think Zayn is beautiful. He's perfection."

Looks like Mr Zayn Malik won’t be short of options however this saga ends!
