Cheryl Cole is the latest celebrity to profess her love for Scots DJ Calvin Harris – the producer of choice at the moment.
Cheryl was doing the rounds of radio stations yesterday to promote her new single, Call My Name, which Harris wrote and produced.
When she made a flying visit to Radio Clyde in Scotland, presenters George Bowie and Suzie McGuire wanted to know if there were more than just musical sparks flying between the talented twosome.
She laughed off the possibility of romance with the Scottish star, but said: “Calvin is the man. I must admit I do love him.
“He is from here so we get on automatically, the Jocks and the Geordies.”
Cheeky George and Suzie decided to push the Calvin angle a little further by playing Snog, Marry, Avoid with Cheryl.
Given the choice between Mr. Harris, Simon Cowell and Will.i.am, she said: “I’d snog Calvin, marry Will and avoid the Cowell.”
28-year-old Calvin, from Dumfries, is currently working on his third studio album. Due out later this year, it’s already produced the singles Awooga, Bounce and Feel So Close, with new single Let’s Go released last weekend.
He has worked with a host of top names in the industry, recently producing the massive hit We Found Love for Rihanna.
Calvin produced a few tracks for Kylie Minogue, including Too Much for her most recent album – famously admitting that he needed “a few drinks” before meeting her.
He hit the top spot in the singles chart with Dizzee Rascal and their tracks Dance wiv Me and Holiday.
Calvin has also worked with Tinchy Stryder, Mary J. Blige, and has apparently contributed tracks to Kesha’s album.
