Peter Andre has become the face, and body, of Fake Bake’s new Sport Daily Tan.
Despite having olive skin, thanks to his Greek heritage, the sexy singer admits to faking it when in the UK as he feels much better when he has a glow.
He said: “When Fake Bake approached me about this product I was really keen to get on board as I am constantly on the go but still want to take care of my appearance.
“I’ve really enjoyed being involved from the beginning and loved having an input into the tan design, even the great papaya and coconut smell. I love to tan but quickly, safely and effectively so this product is made for me!”
Aside from looking good, Pete will also be supporting Scottish based company Fake Bake’s re-launch of their Save Your Skin Campaign 2012, to promote safe tanning and help prevent Skin Cancer.
Supporting charities has always been close to Peter’s heart but in recent months, lending his celebrity status to help cancer campaigns has become more important than ever, after his brother, Andrew, was diagnosed with kidney cancer.
Andrew is currently in the UK receiving treatment and Pete has been extremely open about the battle and his progress, this week writing in his new! magazine column: “Things are still very up and down with Andrew but that’s to be expected when you’re having chemo.”
Focusing on the future, Pete added that Andrew wants to do an interview on his reality show when he’s feeling better and the Mysterious Girl star is “going to hold him to that.”
