Mollie King must dread interviews at the moment, as she knows one question is guaranteed to come up – ‘are you dating Prince Harry?’

After reports last week suggested the stunning Saturdays singer was loved up with Prince H, Mollie has remained tight-lipped on the subject.

That hasn’t stopped journalists and reporters trying desperately to get the inside scoop.

Yesterday Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw had a go, with a host of cheeky questions alluding to the possible royal romance.

First of all he said: “Big rumours in all the papers... about you and Aled,” referring to Aled Jones.

Playing along, Mollie joked: “I'm trying to play it down. We went shopping.”

Later, Nick played a Justin Bieber track and Mollie and her Saturdays bandmates, Frankie Sandford and Rochelle Wiseman, admitted they are big Bieber fans.

Nick asked Mollie: “Would you say Justin Bieber is the PRINCE of pop?”

She replied: “I would say so yeah.”

“Do you like prince of pops?” he continued, to which she replied: “I love Justin Bieber, he's amazing yeah.”

Finally he played some “sexy sax music” and told the 24-year-old “I just thought maybe there's something you'd like to share with us…”

Mollie insisted there wasn’t and Nick gave up, apologising for the comments, saying: “The bosses made me. No, I just thought it would be funny to torture you and do this.”

He then added: “Mollie's staring at me like she hates me now.”

Last week, a keen reporter approached Mollie while she was out shopping with bandmate Una Healy.

He too asked the singer whether she was dating the prince, but Mollie chose to ignore his comments and carried on powering towards the shops.

Yummy mummy Una on the other hand, couldn’t contain her giggles…
