Dancing On Ice judge Louie Spence will welcome Girls' Day Out back to Glasgow with a flourish, when the larger-than-life character officially opens the beauty and lifestyle event this Friday.
Choreographer Louie - who made his name in television on Pineapple Dance Studios, before joining the panel on Dancing On Ice – will officially open the popular weekend show in his trademark style.
Famous for his infectious personality and outrageous comments, Louie always manages to steal the show wherever he goes, and show bosses think he’ll be the perfect addition for the Glasgow event.
Tom Lovering, show organiser, said: “Louie sums up the Girls’ Day Out show perfectly – he is fun, ready for a good time and doesn’t take like too seriously.”
Girls' Day Out has been a resounding success ever since its launch in 2009, and this year sees the fashion, beauty and lifestyle expand and branch out to include shows in other cities including Edinburgh and Manchester.
Organisers are expecting to see over 15,000 women descend on Glasgow’s SECC when the first GDO show of 2012 opens this Friday (April 20).
With over 200 top brands are exhibiting at the event, it’s the perfect place to get some fashion tips, pick up key pieces in line with this season’s style trends, indulge in a beauty treatment or enjoy a couple of tantalising cocktails.
